How it works
In Love Matches you will be asked to give a “personal trait statement” by which you will reveal something deep about yourself - not too much though - the rest come out as your relationship evolves.
There are two parts to your enrolmentnin this site.
First, you must first log in and provide your email address and phone number. These will only be given out where someone has shown interest in you which is then reciprocated by you. If you do not want people in your household to know of your personal matters, you may also provide the name by which you are addressed. Thus, the person answering the phone will only need to call you to the phone by that name and not as "the person who has advertised on the match-making site".
As an applicant'senrolment will only appear on the page for their own country and province/state/county/canton/prefecture, it will be necessary for an applicant living near a country or provincial boundary to enrol separately in the neighbouring province where he or she wants his/her enrolment to appear, in addition.
The second part of your enrolment - This relates to the entry which will appear for you on your own provincial/state/county/cantonal/prefectural site page.
The following entry details are required:
a) Icon Name (e.g. "Faithful Albert", "Amorous Angel" or whatever.)
This should indicate something of your own way of thinking and this name could be used when making future telephone contact with an applicant of interest to you.
b) Gender guy/girl.
c) Orientation - straight/gay/lesbian/bisexual.
d) Date of Birth
Get this accurate. Some people may refuse to choose you if they think you have the wrong sun sign to match their own.
e) Highest Tertiary, Trade/Professional or Secondary (grade) School Qualification and the institution bestowing it.
If none, put "NIL" and the system will not require an entry in the "institution" slot. Obviously, if you are young you would not be expected to have a qualification.
f) A Personal Trait Statement from the Lost or a combination of two. Or you could compose one of your own to a minimum of 180 character spaces.
- I am affectionate and tactile.
- I just want to look after my mate.
- I want someone to look after me.
- I enjoy running the household.
- I can be ratty but I am loving.
- I like making my mate laugh.
- I like a mate who makes me laugh.
- I am demure. I want to be looked after.
- I am very sensual. I am into movement and grace.
- I like a partner who is intelligent. I believe I am.
- Sometimes, I need to be spanked.
- If my mate needs spanking, I will do it.
- I rather like my own space. I would allow my mate his/hers.
- I am an idealist. Help me to keep my feet on the ground.
- I am heavily into causes. I want my mate to be, too.
- I am a workaholic. I want to get on.
- I need to give myself to others. Please don't take advantage of me.
g) Elective Particulars.
Any particulars which a person might elect to give him/herself. (e.g. Crooked nose but genuine smile, eye twinkle, studying for a degree in music, love cats, football and car racing, ... to a minimum of 180 character spaces).
You will now pay a fee of US $10.00 to activate your enrolment.
After that, you may visit your provincial/state/county/cantonal/prefectural page as many times as you wish without further charge until you make a reciprocated contact. There is no charge for making a contact either. Enrolment will last one year.
You will be given an enrolment number. This number will appear on your provincial page entry.
Where one applicant shows interest in the entry of another, he or she will click on that entry. That entry will become highlighted for 3 days and display the entry number of the person showing interest in him/her.
If during the 3 days the entry is highlighted the interest is reciprocated the recipient will click in the number where it appears on their own entry.
Both applicants will receive an email providing the phone number of the other and their first name, if provided.
The entry of each of you will be taken out of your/their provincial page. Enrolments can be novated without cost if a relationship fails to develop. Each entry will stay off the page until novation. However, if the one year period from the establishment of the your entry has expired, a new enrolment will be necessary.
Novation can be effected by the use of the login procedure.
